OCTOBER 17 & 18, 2027 WITH GEA KRAJCAR, NINA VUKAS, ITERA & IEVA LUNA

16h Business & Ethics of Teaching Yoga

Teaching yoga is one thing. Letting the right people find you, trusting yourself to be seen, and doing all of that ethically with integrity is another. This 16-hour YACEP-certified training is an open conversation about building a sustainable livelihood from the work you love, led by four voices who have each walked their own path.

This is a module from our 300h Yoga Teacher Training - check the training out. You can book this single 16h training alone or join the full 300h training.

WITH IVA FROM ITERA

Marketing as a bridge between what you offer and who you want to reach.

We will explore marketing as continuous communication, a bridge between what you offer and the people who are looking for it. Together we will look at what you want to say, who you are speaking to, and how it all connects to your personal why. You will leave with practical worksheets to see where you stand now and to shape what you want to build next, whether that is fuller classes, a retreat, a wider reach or a community of your own. The focus is on communication that is strategic, intentional and sustainable, rather than constant presence online.

WITH GEA FROM SŌMA

One teacher, many streams: classes, studio, online club, retreats, trainings.

+ The technology, made simple: websites, SEO, newsletters

Gea Krajcar will share her journey as a full-time teacher for 12 years, weaving together yoga studios, weekly classes, an online yoga club, retreats, and teacher trainings. She will speak openly about overcoming the fear of speaking out loud, about your own work, and will cover positioning, building a community, creating retreats step by step, and managing and opening yoga studios.

With a background in computer science and years of running her own studio and other businesses, she will also guide you through the practicalities of establishing the business, building your own website, SEO, newsletter, and the technology behind online classes and membership platforms.

WITH NINA VUKAS FROM SPANDA INSTITUTE

The ethics of teaching Yoga

Teaching yoga is a profound responsibility. This module explores the ethical dimensions of teaching, from scope of practice to inclusivity, honest communication, and embodying the ethical guidelines in your work. You'll learn to understand your scope of practice as a yoga teacher, practice honest communication and trauma-informed approaches, and cultivate mindfulness in teaching. We'll explore the yamas and niyamas of teaching yoga and how to create inclusive and diverse yoga spaces. This is the foundation for teaching with integrity, humility, and authentic care for your students.

Nina is a founder of Spanda Institute, a Yoga teacher of 25+ years, author and psychotherapist, and will be covering this part.

WITH IEVA LUNA

The journey behind a YouTube channel,
and how to grow with confidence and authenticity.

Ieva Luna will take us behind her YouTube channel, sharing the lessons and insights of growing an audience with confidence and authenticity. She will share insights into monetization on YouTube, as well as how she weaves the online community with her in-person offerings.
