20h Accessible Yoga & Restorative Yoga training
DECEMBER 11 - 13, 2026 WITH GEA KRAJCAR & RENÉE JONES AT SŌMA YOGA WANDSWORTH
This 20h YACEP advanced teacher training module, accredited by Yoga Alliance, invites you to explore accessibility as more than simply modifying postures. You will learn how choice, adaptability, communication, environment, and therapeutic intention can help create yoga spaces where more people can participate meaningfully, and where rest is taught as a skill in its own right.
20h Accessible Yoga & Restorative Yoga training is a module in our 300h Yoga Teacher Training - check it out. You can book this single 20h training, or the full 300h.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Accessible Yoga with Gea
True accessibility goes beyond offering modifications. It lives in language, space, sequencing, the use of props, and genuine inclusivity. You will learn how to use props to make classes accessible for all bodies, and how to develop intelligent sequencing for truly “all-levels” classes using the mat, props, the chair, and the wall.
This part of the module teaches language that fosters inclusion and safety, while creating both physical and emotional space for diverse bodies and abilities. You will come to understand accessibility and trauma-sensitive practice beyond the physical, and learn to teach in a way that honours each student’s unique needs. By the end, you will be able to shape classes where everyone, regardless of age, ability, body type, or experience, feels genuinely welcome and empowered.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Restorative Yoga with Renée
We will delve into the foundations of restorative yoga: key postures, intelligent prop use, and adaptable approaches that support a wide range of bodies. You will explore how to create an environment that truly allows for rest, including how to prepare the body, soften sensory input, and guide thoughtful transitions that help students stay in a state of ease.
Through the lens of the nervous system and its relationship with fascia, this module looks at rest not simply as a pause, but as an essential balance to effort. It becomes a pathway back to your authentic self, and a way to build a stronger foundation for practice and a more nuanced understanding of the body. By the end of the training, you will feel confident designing and guiding restorative classes that are thoughtful, inclusive, and deeply nourishing.

Gea is a devotional Yoga teacher trainer, founder of the award-winning SOMA Yoga studio in London, a full-spectrum doula, and someone who believes that spiritual awakening happens through engaging with the world we are living in, not escaping from it. For over 12 years, she’s been passionate about creating spaces where people feel genuinely safe to drop their armour and explore their inner landscapes.
Her offerings weave tantric wisdom into accessible, strong, and creative Yoga practice, alongside live harmonium and chanting. You can find her running our lovely SOMA home, teaching weekly classes and kirtans, leading foundational 200-hour, advanced 300-hour, as well as 85h Prenatal & Postnatal Teacher Trainings.
A few times a year, she guides dreamy retreats, and daily grows her passion project - the Online Yoga Club. You can also find her volunteering for the Croatian Doula Association, providing emotional support to expectant and postpartum mothers who can’t afford it otherwise, across the Balkan region.
