Yoga studio · Wandsworth
Find your yoga home, not just a yoga class.
At SOMA, teachers learn your name. Strangers become familiar faces over tea. Yoga is taught in its full form, the strength and the stillness, the philosophy and the practice… not as another fitness class.
On the river, SW18 · All levels welcome · No experience needed.
Most people come to SOMA looking for movement. Many stay because they find something much more.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Yoga, taught in its full form.
Intelligent movement
Strength built with care, not force. Our teachers train in real biomechanics so your practice can last a lifetime, not just a season
Depth & Devotion
Chanting, philosophy and tradition, woven into classes that are also physically demanding, creative and genuinely joyful.
Belonging
Tea after class. Teachers who remember your name. A community that forms slowly, and was never left to chance.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Here’s what to expect
You'll be welcomed upon arrival: Candles lit, tea on, music low. Your teacher will introduce themselves and take a moment to understand where you're coming from.
You'll be guided, never pushed. Options throughout class, at your own pace. There's no expectation to know anything before you arrive, just bring yourself.
You're invited to stay for tea. A lot of people do. It's where strangers become familiar faces, and where SOMA starts to feel less like a class, and more like home.
"I wanted people to feel that this is the space where we laugh, find calm, cry, grieve, pray, and feel. The tapestry of life is all welcome here, not left at the door."
— Gea, Founder, SOMA
