Becoming Human ~ Move. Write. Be

GET YOUR TICKET

Join us for a gentle, nourishing workshop that invites you to soften the busy mind, return to your body, and remember the simple, beautiful act of being human. Through movement, writing, and rest, we’ll explore what it means to meet ourselves with compassion, curiosity, and acceptance.

🌀 Somatic Movement | MOVE

Renee will guide you through an explorative somatic movement practice that awakens the body’s natural intelligence. With slow, intuitive motion, you’ll release tension, settle your nervous system, and open space for creativity to flow from a place of ease rather than effort.

🌀 Wild Writing | WRITE

Jillean will lead free-form wild writing practices that help you slip beneath the inner critic and into your honest, unpolished, deeply human voice. You’ll be invited to write without judgment, welcome whatever arises, and—if you choose—share your words in a supportive circle.

🌀 Integration | BE

We’ll close with a grounding yoga nidra to weave your experience together, offering a soft landing for your body and heart. This restful integration invites you to simply be with yourself—no fixing, no striving, just being.

What to Bring

🌀 A journal or notebook (paper and pens will also be provided)
🌀 A water bottle
🌀 Any props you need for comfort during floor work (studio props are also available!)

Accessibility

Tables and chairs will be available for anyone who prefers a seated option at any point in the workshop.

A Small Comfort : We’ll share warming chai or herbal tea to support our sense of community and care. Come as you are—tired, curious, tender, or unsure. This is a space to move with kindness, write with honesty, and be with yourself exactly as you are, becoming human in the most compassionate way.
