Shoulder The Weight - Mobility & Inversions Workshop

This workshop is designed to deepen your anatomical knowledge around the shoulder joint in order to avoid compensations and injuries within your asana and inversion practice.

Through mobility drills and Functional Range Conditioning concepts and exercises as well as precise flows, you will learn how to build strength and stability around this area, particularly, and the entire group of trunk muscles.

The aim will be to delve into inversions and arm balances safely and confidently, and discover how to integrate these powerful postures into your daily practice in the long run.

Location: SOMA Yoga is nested in the garden of the Battersea Reach complex (SW181TA) inside the bbodance, on the first floor. You can arrive by train to Wandsworth Town station (6’ walk from the studio), by bus (Petergate or Bridgend Road stop, 2’ walk from the studio) or by Uber boat (Plantation Wharf Pier).

Parking: Coming with a car? There is a car park at Battersea Reach (pay per hour) or free parking in Eltringham Street (2’ from the studio) where you are free to park anytime except 3-4 pm.
