This is a weekend designed to work as a whole, moving through strength, stillness, breath and flight in a sequence that builds, restores, and ultimately transforms. Whether you join us for one session or stay for both, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of your body, your practice, and what becomes possible when intelligence meets movement.
Aurelie Poles brings her signature blend of anatomical insight, creative sequencing and genuine warmth to every workshop, making complex concepts feel accessible, and accessible concepts feel profound.
If you're planning to join both sessions this Sunday, full day is dicounted: £85 for both workshops. Just email us at soma@wandsworthyoga.com after booking one of them and we'll send you a discount code for the remaining session.
Sunday:
Master the Flow - Breath x Mobility Masterclass
All levels
Breath and movement are inseparable, and this masterclass explores why. Bringing together the anatomy of breath, pranayama, functional mobility and creative sequencing, you'll discover how breath informs movement and how movement can unlock breath. You'll leave feeling grounded, balanced, and more connected to your practice than when you arrived.
Ideal for regular practitioners, yoga teachers wanting more intelligence in their sequencing, and anyone curious about the relationship between how they breathe and how they move.
Open to Fly - Hip Mobility x Arm Balance Workshop
3 hours · All levels
The hips are one of the most complex and most misunderstood joints in the body. This closing workshop goes deep into hip anatomy, biomechanics and the way this single joint influences movement throughout your entire body. Through intelligent mobility work, targeted functional exercises and a progressive asana practice, you'll build the flexibility, strength and neurological control needed to support arm balances and advanced postures, safely and sustainably.
For practitioners curious about arm balances, working towards poses like Eka Pada Galavasana or Grasshopper, or struggling with hip tightness or instability. Equally valuable for teachers wanting a more anatomically informed approach to sequencing hip work.
