Join us for a nurturing exploration that invites you to step out of the overthinking mind and into the compassionate wisdom of the heart. This workshop weaves together the embodied practices of somatic movement and wild writing to unlock your creative expression and inner knowing.
What to expect:
🌀 Movement Practice - Renee will guide you through an explorative somatic movement session designed to awaken your body's intelligence, release tension, and get your creative energy flowing
✍️ Wild Writing - Jillean will lead you through free-form writing exercises that bypass the inner critic and tap into your authentic voice, with optional sharing in circle
✨ Closing Integration - We'll conclude with a grounding yoga nidra to help you integrate your experience and return to your center
What to Bring:
📓 Journal or notebook (we'll also have paper and pens available)
💧 Water bottle
☁️ Any props you need for comfort during floor work (the studio's props are available to use!)

🪑 Tables and chairs will be available for those who need seated options during any portion of the workshop.

Location: SOMA Yoga is nested in the garden of the Battersea Reach complex (SW181TA) inside the bbodance, on the first floor. You can arrive by train to Wandsworth Town station (6’ walk from the studio), by bus (Petergate or Bridgend Road stop, 2’ walk from the studio) or by Uber boat (Plantation Wharf Pier).
Parking: Coming with a car? There is a car park at Battersea Reach (pay per hour) or free parking in Eltringham Street (2’ from the studio) where you are free to park anytime except 3-4 pm.
